HI.I have had depression for 10 years plus. It's been pretty much untreated because the meds give me bad side effects or they stop working after a while. It's gotten so bad,I know I need to get back on something.I've tried almost every antidepressant available.SSRI's like zoloft and celexa make me so apathetic and indifferent that I become worthless, caring about nothing. Effexor made me gain 30 lbs.Wellbutrin gave me alot of anxiety. My question is,does anyone have success stories about using an SSRI at the same time as Wellbutrin.I liked the way wellbutrin made me feel more focused and energized, but the anxiety was too much.I was thinking putting an SSRI in the mix would help curb that a bit since it is more calming.I think the wellbutrin would also help curb the apathetic feelings from the SSRI.My insurance doesn't cover Psychiatrists and I can't afford out of pocket.I need to get the drugs from my primary doctor but wanted to ask some of you to share your experiences with mixing the 2.

I have a bottle of zoloft that is 6 years old and I think the expiration on the bottle says 2002. I want to start taking it again. It has been stored in a cool dry place the whole time. Do you think the efficacy has been compromised because it's so old? In other words would taking 100mg be only as effective as taking 50 mg, for example. I know the pharmacist will tell me yes for liability reasons, but I was wondering if that's necessarily true or if anyone has taken meds this old that have been just as effective. Thanks

I was looking into having the surgery done, but everything I find on the surgery says that if you are taking Imitrex or are on medications for migraines, you really shouldn't have the surgery? Does anyone know why? I'm getting really tired of wearing glasses and this information dashes my hopes of getting rid of them.

What does this mean? I had a pin prick test done at an outdoor event done by a nurse who said my random blood glucose was 8.7 and then she got distracted and walked away so I have no ruddy idea what this means? She did write the figures on a card before she went so I know the info is correct although intelligible!!

For sake of simplicity, let us consider the level of these barely audible signals are at 85 dB, the suggested volume levels at which a normal human can safely listen to sound waves [20Hz-20KHz] for about 8hrs.

But if the sound has only frequency contents between 15K to 20K, will this have any different effects ? it very harmful ? gravely dangerous ? or it is much better than listening to a sound containing all frequencies from 20Hz to 20Khz ?
