I recently read an article about stem-cells proliferating cancer. How much evidence is there to support this argument? Is there any evidence against it? And if its true, what can be done to solve the problem?

Is the intelligence a child receives somewhat based upon the intelligence of his/her parents? I often hear that since the parents are smart the child must be clever, is this reasonable? Is intelligence based genetically? Thank you.

An organ is injured in a way that enables the stroma to regenerate, but not the parenchyma. What impact will that have on the subsequent functioning of that organ?

My science teacher told my class that the worst pain ever is if you break your mastring, becuase then it would go up and form a bugle in your muscle, and it is the most severe pain in the world. Im not sure, but what really is the worst pain anyone can ever feel? Also, on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest and 1 being the lowest) what kind of pain would you be in if you broke a bone? Also, how would it feel?

I am in a very competitive class in med-school and we have a 'pseudo' exam (a tough CA) coming up next week. Note, I am yet to start preparing for it.

It just doesn't make any sense to me. It helps people who are in desperate need of help what are we going to do? Throw away the stem cells and tell people "sorry we'd like to help you but they won't let us so you're going to die"?

I will be meeting with my county's Coroner this evening, along with the other members from my local Citizens on Patrol. I have prepared a list of questions, but I don't want to leave anything out. I'm mostly curious about the scope of jobs available, what type of education/ experience/ co-op's, etc. are required and/or desirable, and if there are any opportunites for laypeople to volunteer their time and/or assistance (while I'm earning my degree) in any capacity (filing papers, anything)..

I would like to make sure that I am not inadvertently leaving out any areas of discussion for which such an experienced person might be able to provide answers.. but only if I knew to ask the question.

Thanks!

Does anyone know any anti-depressants (and better, if it helps anxiety problems, too) that DOES NOT use the serotonin and dopamine?

My body reacts too sensitive to those serotonin and dopamine using medications.

I have asked my docter about this, but it seems he does not know anything other than the above.

If you suggest me one, I will ask for his opinion on that one.

Please help me, and thank you for your kindness.
