My friends cockatiels died. All three of them in the space of just over an hour. They threw up and had spasms. They were very healthy birds. The first died at 3.00AM, and last at 4.30AM
Her husbands looked on the net and sort of came to the conclusion that it might have been gases given off by their non-stick pans. They live in a studio flat and the birds are in the living area (so is the kitchen). She said it was a cold and the windows were shut. Normally they are open whilst cooking.
If it was the teflon coating ... How would they have died?
She really wants to know.
Sorry for the macabre question. Thanks for any sensible answers.

Seems like all doctors and nurses want to do these days is throw out anxiety pills (which I believe is a low version of heroin) to "help" your problem, instead of actually finding out what the root of the problem is. I have found that in general, the human body needs a few things to cope....God, water, air, necessary vitamins, plenty of minerals, healthy natural foods, ocassional exercise, and peace. What did the cavemen and women do thousands of years when "anxiety pills" or other "special pills" weren't invented. Do they make commission or something?

I need to write a paper on how specific cultures confict with medical practice, and I need an interesting topic!! Some examples include doctors dealing with jehovah's witness patients; how it's against their religion to have blood transfusions, or christian scientists, who are not allowed to have any medical treatment. Basically, anything where science conflicts with culture. Any ideas? Thanks! =)

We have kidney transplants and now a face one. We could all be soon made of different parts of dead people. Kind of like a living patchwork

Are prescription drugs necessary or should we rely upon more natural remedies and lifestyle changes such as natural supplements, exercise, and diet? Do prescription drugs actually harm our bodies over time or do they actually improve our overall health? What is your opinion on this matter?

I've kept looking in as many search engines as a could but none would provide enough information. It's for a project.

I was recently using Replax (which I loved!), but I can no longer take it because of the antidepressant I am now on. Also, there is some risk associated with taking Motrin while on an antidepressant as well.... So, what is left for me when I get a horrible migraine?
