Mum always like to brew chinese herbal medicine/ tonic for my family. Sometimes she'll make us drink them when we are sick! If we were to take the prescribed medicine from the western doctor, say panadol, will they react to each other?

A couple of hours ago, my arm started itching. When I noticed the spot it had something that looked like a blister put it had pus in it. It had a red circle around it not really big. But it keeps itching and now the red spot is the size of a dime and it is swollen (the red spot.) The pus pocket or blister is in the center of the red swollen circle. This bite is on my lower left arm & my arm is hurting all the way to my elbow & it is sharp/shooting pains. I am going to search for spider bites but I wanted to try here first since I have found a lot of good answers here. Thanks to those who help me.

I need to write about at least 3 other mechanisms by which enzyme activity in blood would increase, that would not be due to increased release from damaged or diseased tissues, but could be due to disease or toxicity. Im finding it hard to find sources on the internet, does anyone know of any websites that may help? Thanks

I had mastectomies, and now, three years later, I still episodically develop stinging pain in one area or another. It lasts a few weeks, then fades. It's been explained as nerve regeneration. But I thought that nerves don't regenerate. I know spinal cord injuries, for example, don't heal themselves. So what DO damaged nerves do? Can they regrow, but in the wrong place? (I wonder this because I have areas of my axilla that, when touched, cause sensation in my back.) Can they ever repair themselves? I'm curious, not concerned.

I m doing South Australian Matriculation now. I intend to take health science/medicine at either University of Auckland or University of Otago. The interview is coming soon and I need to prepare myself by expecting what questions will the interviewer ask, and what are the best answers, in order to convince him/her that I m eligible for this course. Thanks.
