yes, this is normal. happens to me everytime I get new glasses or contacts. BUT if it doesn't go away in 2-3 days, you may have been OVERcorrected and I would go back and have your Dr. change the prescription. sometimes takes several tweaks to get it just right - maybe you can see street signs great when you're driving but are unable to focus in on words on a page. gotta find your perfect balance.

If everything looks smaller, it is clear that you are bearsighted, like me. I also noticed that colours become a little bit pale, a difference like to look directly and through window. If you feel that the ground bends one two days, it may be normal until you adjust. But if you feel that longer, you may have to go to ask the doctor to prescribe better glasses. Doctors measure distance between eyes badly sometimes (especially if you need only glasses to look far), or opticians center badly lenses, or somthing else. It is important to get good glasses first time, because if one of lenses is too weak, this eye to become even weaker. Some doctors are afraid to prescribe too different lenses, ifeyes are different.

I went through something similar when I was growing up and got new glasses almost every two years (it seemed). I recall that there was a period of adjustment each time, and that it was pretty darned cool.
But, eventually, my eyes adjusted and everything was alright.
However, if you misjudge distances or get headaches, you may want to go back to the store and have the glasses readjusted. If that doesn't work, then see your eye doctor.

I experienced the same thing when I was getting used to my glasses, so don't fret; it's perfectly normal. You might get headaches for the first two days or so, but it's not too bad. However, it you feel the same way after a week or so, as if your eyes are still adjusting to your glasses, visit your eye doctor. Something might be up at that point.
Other than that, good luck! Hope this helps. :)

Your eyes are adjusting. Give it some time. The base curve of the lenses or the lens style could be part of what you are dealing with. If you are still having problems after a few weeks go back to your O.D. Remember you have to wear your glasses to get used to them.

yes, it's normal.Yes, you might experience some dizziness too , but if they are prescribed, then you should wear them. Also ,I recommend that you use flexible frames, so that they don't be too heavy and leave marks above your cheek to your ear.And have a spar pair, just in case ...
