and when I say decency, I mean not sleeping with animals. only witches drink blood. AFRICA is a CONTINENT not a country like congo or bla bla bla. I've been to a country in Africa and there is no such thing. I havent even seen anyone eat a monkey. They are rather plenty in zoos. Maybe slave catcher raped a monkey and thought it was an african's brother or sister then got the virus and spreaded it around.

Aids originated from when europeans went to africa (trying to steal our gold) and got stuck in the Kalahari Desert. They were starving, and ate the first animal they could kill which was the monkey. They went back to Europe and passed the desease on. You guys shouldnt talk about africa that way. Americans are very niave, and need to go to africa by themselves and then come back and talk. When they've been, then they will experience it for themselves and see that what is on the news and tv is just exaggerated! Believe me,I know...Im from africa!!! For a first world country, its people are very DIM!!!!

Belief has nothing to do with it. You have to look at the evidence in the world outside yourself: You cannot just examine your own personal biases and experiences.
I have seen videos of Africans butchering and preparing chimpanzee carcasses for food. Of course not all Africans do this: Actually only a few tribal groups in the Congo region do this. There are many different ethnic groups in Africa. Human ethnic variation is much more complex than black and white.
To answer your question about how AIDS spread all over the world, I have two responses:
1) HIV has a long "latent" period: It does not kill quickly and thus it can travel over long distances when certain people do.
2) Scientists actually know the names of the individuals who originally brought the virus from the Congo region to Europe, Canada, and the U.S. There is very little reasonable doubt here.
You seem to think that AIDS is somehow an indictment against African people. AIDS evolved in Africa instead of another continent for one reason: Chimps live in Africa. HIV is a virus that evolved from SIV, which is endemic in apes.
Nobody had sex with a chimp. This image springs to mind among people who still see HIV as a shameful, sexual disease. All you need is blood-to-blood contact. Rain forest hunters have plenty of opportunity for this. I have cut myself while preparing pork in my own kitchen. It happens.
Apes evolved in Africa. Humans evolved in Africa from apes. The transition from SIV to HIV was easy because chimpanzees are more than 99% identical to humans genetically.
AIDS says nothing about the moral character of Africans, but it speaks volumes about the history of our species and the nature of evolution.

Well as far as decency that is in ones perspective. Go to the Sudan, Rwanda, or the Congo and get back to me about decency.
SIV Simian Immunodeficiency Syndrome is found in primates in Africa, so it would seem that it could be the cause of HIV.
Another theory is that in the creation of the polio vaccine primate kidneys were used to develope the polio virus in Africa instead of creating and shipping the vaccine from Europe and the U.S. If you can make something local why not? However the possible unintended result was SIV infecting humans thus creating HIV.

read this then decide
Where did HIV originate? First, HIV-2 is very closely related to SIV, the simian immune virus, found in sooty mangabeys. Baboons can be infected with HIV-1 and they can also suffer from a version of SIV. At the 6th American Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections held in Chicago from January 31-February 4, 1999, one of the keynote papers delivered by Beatrice Hahn on the first day presented evidence that HIV-1 is likely to have originated in West African chimpanzees of the species Pan troglodytes troglodytes. HIV could have been transferred from monkeys because they have long been kept as pets and used for food. When hunting monkeys it is not unusual for both the hunter and the hunted to exchange blood during capture. Currently there is a large market in "bush meat" obtained from monkeys. This does not bode well because there may well be continuing transfer of the disease from monkeys to humans.
The earliest fully documented case of HIV dates back to 1959. A Congolese man's blood sample from a medical study was preserved, found, and then analyzed in 1998. It was verified that he had been HIV+. Other suspected, but unverified because of the lack of either blood or tissue samples, cases date back as early as 1934. On February 1, 2000, M. Korber, et al. reported the results of a phylogenetic statistical analysis of the evolution of the retroviral genome of HIV using complex mathematical models allowing for both constant and variable rates of evolution. Her group's analysis required the use of supercomputers to backtrack the evolution to its source from monkeys. The most reliable time of origin in humans is somewhere around 1930 (a 95% confidence interval extends from 1910 to 1950). Several naysayers have claimed that the disease originated from the use of African green monkey kidneys to cultivate poliovirus in the late 1950's and early 1960's. This analysis finds that argument to be a very low probability event, hence quite unlikely.
The first recorded cases in the U.S. occurred in New York City in 1952, 1959, and 1979. The cases from the 1950s were both males with PCP and other unusual infections. The first reported cases were those in the June 5, 1981 MMWR mentioned earlier. The watershed event that brought the disease into full view of the public eye was the announcement that the (thought to be very macho) film star Rock Hudson had the disease. (Even after he had been diagnosed with AIDS, he continued cruising the gay bars and did not notify any of his sexual partners of his HIV status.)

I am afraid it is. Africa is the old continent where life come from. Its soil is perfect for bacteria. An interesting thing: some German pple are so scrupulous about their cleanness, that they are given dirt injections!!! The material is taken out of the African soil, they weaken the bacteria and vaccinate the overclean Germans.
