I am the TA for the electric machines laboratory course at The Ohio State University.

One of the things I enjoy doing when I teach this lab is to bring in demonstrations of motors/gens or magnetism that have a certain "cool factor" (eg: an electromagnet that can lift 50lbs). I also like to give out "optional reading" links to websites with useful or practical information related to the course topics.

So, the type of website I am looking for is something that is pretty easy reading and contains primarily conceptual information. A website that has flash animations or GIFs that show concepts would be great as well.

I am looking for something like these sites:
http://my.execpc.com/~rhoadley/magindex.htm
http://www.wvic.com/how-gen-works.htm

Thanks!

the question:
1- why it is 5 steps?
2- why it is in the primary side? if it is on secondary side, is true?
3- why it is at off load?

thankyou very much
