AI without math is something that exists only in science fiction.

A car without math is a mule.
A computer with a little math is an abacus.

Examples of AI math:
- Reinformcement Learning
- Neural Networks
- Hidden Markov Models
- Game Theory
- Optimal Stochastic Control
- Numerical Analysis
- Statistical Modeling
...

Look up PhD's in applied computational mathematics. Nearly anything they would do applies to AI.
