Whenever a word problem asks me to set up an equation, I fail at doing so and I suck at other word problems as well. Also, my SAT math score was in the mid 500's (which I feel is nothing compared to other engineers) But, I just finished calc 1 with an A, and when it comes to problem solving in calculus or algebra I am pretty good (integrals, derivates ect.). With all that said, am I going to have trouble as an engineer?

This is an awkward question.

So let's say you buy a solar panel and it costs you $750, and at the current price of electricity (and other factors), it will take x years for the solar panel to SAVE you $750 on your electricity bill, thus paying for itself.

What is this phenomenon or duration of time called?

I guess you could compare it to "breaking even", except you were not investing money for the purpose of making money. You were investing money for the purpose of saving money.

Whenever I prototype, I do it the easiest way possible. Some of my wires are longer than they need to be. Now I have a job interview soon, and I'm going to have to prototype during the interview. Is it important that my wires stay close to the breadboard and not so many inches high?

I've been doing some research on armored vehicles (for a 3D modelling assignment), specifically Infantry Fighting Vehicles (IFVs), and I've seen that some of them has a very gentle slope for its front.

Does this in anyway affect its frontal armor's resistance to heavy machine gun rounds, artillery fragments, and assault rifle rounds? Or does it merely make it harder to aim at, since it'll be more flat?

Or is it that the more gentle the slop of the frontal armor, the more resistance to rounds fired from the ground, but the protection is diminished when fired upon from higher ground, since the full force of the round will be taken by the armor? Something like this:
