I go through the san francisco bay to Oakland sometimes and I was wondering if the tunnel gets built in the water or do they dig a tunnel in the earth underneath the water? and what happens if a earthquake would hit an you were down there, would it be like Indiana Jones temple of doom with all that water shooting down the tunnel?

•Only one car can be crossing at any given time.
•A car should be allowed to cross the intersection only if there are no cars coming from the other street.
When cars are coming from both sides, they should take turns to prevent indefinite postponements in either street.

Can the above question be coded in C++ and how?

For those of you who do not know, that is the green coating. I've tried acetone and it has little effect. I need a chemical that will do it, not a mechanical method like scraping or sanding. I need to preserve as much of the actual printed circuit as I can.

suppose you had a completley air-tight room with ventilation system that was closed until a certain amount of air pressure was created it could open and suck out all the air as fast as possible and then push fresh air back in.

i wish to create air-tight room in which if a fire is lit and the air will heat and start to expand the pressure valve, as on a ship uses to open when a certain amount of water pressure builds up, will open and then a fan of some sort can suck all the air out extuingishing any fire and then push air back in to preserve any life left in it if possible

i imagine it work a little something like this
when the fire starts the air will expand the lightly pressure sensitive vent opens air is sucked out the fire is extuingished air pressure builds up even greater in the room another vent opens air flows back in
i would like to know if this is possible and how it would be accomplished

**thank you in advance**

how does it work exactly?
what are it's components? what is it connected to in the plug ( which part of the plug is connected to the timer)? how does it control the turning on or off of the electricity?
the timer is meant to turn the electricity off every 3 or 4 hrs to prevent current overload.. or overheating. so the plug would continue working properly

please please please.. if anybody has any idea please reply!

We can send men to the moon. We can develop life in a test tube. So, why can't we make a vending machine that will take a wrinkled dollar bill?

I use products such as the Automotive-Standard Circuit breakers from http://www.waytekwire.com/index.htm. On the circuit breaker there is a label stamped on either side of the breaker. It is stamped BAT and AUX. My question is why does it matter which dirction current flows through a thermal circuit breaker?

Basically designing an addition to an olefins plant all year. Pretending there is some new awesome technology that lets us produce propylene for a profit. Designed the pumps..about 6 distillation columns, compressors...heat ex...etc.

Suppose to treat this like its the real world.....in the final process of putting together the report we would give to our boss (prof in this case).

Prof likes to pretend he is the real boss and says in real life you wouldn't ask your boss questions.....so he's not really available to answer them.

ANyways...this is what it says to include in our final presentation in terms of safety.

*********************************************************
Discuss some of the Safety and Environmental aspects of the process. Include both process operating concerns as well as toxicity/flammability for specific chemicals.
