How do I find peak voltage from rms voltage????

Finals are today and this is the only thing I am questional about....Thanx for your help!!!!! electircal student

Peak Voltage = 1.41 times RMS

For a sine wave, the peak value is â2 time the RMS value.

The above answer is only for a sine wave. Different waveforms have different factors.

But for typical power cals the number 1.414 works fine....
