I use a multitester I have to test AC voltage, DC voltage, ohms, and wondered if I can use it to test the continuous flow of current through a circuit or through the same strand of wire on a power cord, to make sure there is no break in the wire somewhere. Thanks for helping.

This is a trick answer, and don forget your power factors.
Computer draws 450 watts, printer draws 1.5 amps, monitor is 1.5 amps and your constant is 120 Volts AC. Your Power factor is .778

I want 60 min. run time full load.
What is the cheapest route.?

By car I mean a rolling science project about the size of a shoebox or smaller. It is going to be powered by a small 9 Volt motor, which will rotate the wheel axle. I assume that the wheel size will not affect the RMP of the mini-motor, but please correct me if I'm wrong. Scientific answers or helpful equations would be greatly appreciated.

I am trying to decide if or not to go to college for a bachelors in engineering or attend a 2 year technical school to be a specialized automotive tuner or a technician. I love to work on engines but also like to design new power punching parts for them. I could go either way but am leaning towards the automotive technician because the pay is pretty good and I know its better in engineering but I like physical work more than mental. My dad is pushing enginnering on me but I want to live my own life. I feel that he is pushing me beyond my capabilities. I want to get out into the world and make some money because I've already gone to school for 13 years.

I have this problem involving a zenor diode voltage regulator circuit. The zener is a 1N4753. R=56 ohm. Vin = 12 v. The load varies from 0 to 150mA. How would i calculate the load setting( RL) when the zener comes out of breakdown?

here is the drawing of the circuit:

p.s.
I'm not looking for the answer, but some guidence on how to solve this problem. This is my first electronics class, so i'm kinda confused on how to solve this problem.

I myself want to hand-build my own houseboat, but in an exotic way. First of all, I want this boat to be shaped hexagonally; I am not exactly intending it to go much further then where I put it initially so what's the best way to anchor it?
Second of all, I want it to be almost excessively buoyant, so I can put lots of weight on it. Most of that weight will be soil, as I'm intending to make my own floating yard. The house itself will be built on top of this lot, what methods techniques would be best to ensure maximum buoyancy on a budget.
Third, considering construction time is no object but material prices are, what would be the best materials for freshwater/seawater hulls. I'm not sure if I want to live on a freshwater lake or off the coast. What materials are best for this construction?
Thank you for your time.
