This is a question of a job interview i had.
Could anyone tell me what does it really mean by trades processes.

here they are:

1. Describe the basic device used in both galvanometers and DC electric motors. What additional device does an electric motor have? why is this device necessary?

2.why must an ammeter be connected in series with a circuit? Why must a voltmeter be connected in parallel across a circuit?

I need to keep an aluminum can warm in a 30 min. period. i can't use manufactured materials, like thermoses, styrofoam, and etc.. Also, the insulation of the can cannot extend 3 cm, in thickness. Any ideas?

i am designing a truss, this truss is having heavy horizontal force so the moment at foundation level is high. since the structure dont required heavy or pile foundation, there seems to be some problem in analysis. please help me with this.

They(building 7, the 2 towers) seem to go perfectly straight down with fires. Fire is much cheaper and if they were controlled, they wouldn't be very dangerous. It would save time in meticulous planning etc...
