I need to keep an aluminum can warm in a 30 min. period. i can't use manufactured materials, like thermoses, styrofoam, and etc.. Also, the insulation of the can cannot extend 3 cm, in thickness. Any ideas?

lots of newspaper...believe it or not..newspaper is a great insulator

Pack wet mud around the can, not to exceed 3 cm. This would keep you in the running not to use manufactured products.

Use hair or wool or fur. Any natural insoluation is as good or better than manufactured stuff.

how warm does it need to be?
can you make a double boiler, and put boiling hot water in an outter shell, like a bigger can or a plastic bag?

use polar bear hyde. it works for them???
or what about penguin skin, whale blubber?

all easy items to find, just go to your local zoo, im sure they would be willing to give you some
