Acrylic is not radiopaque although 2" is a lot of material. I had an odd job of making acrylic holders for dental implants so a person doing research could make a set of images that would show what the implants would look like from various angles.
By the way, acrylic plastic comes in cast and extruded forms. If you drill the extruded rods, lovely mirror cracks run through the plastic, taking as long as over night to form. Cast acrylic does not do this but is much less common in some forms.
