im gonna make this short and simple....because there were other descusions about this and i dont wanna repeat...
According to the Big Bang model, the universe developed from an extremely dense and hot state.....
when i think about it.... i say God doesnt exist...
but if someone asks why.. you dont have such a convincing thing to say.. other than experiments astronimers did...
my question: how did the nebula come to being..? from where did the clouds of dust come?
(im trying to convince my friend that God doesnt exist.. the problem is that everytime she asks me another good question.. i dont have an answer to it.. its kind of annoying that people get blinded by what they learn in religion class!)

my cousin who is in, high school, has a report due which involves creating their own kind of solar system. taking the task to heart, she then came up with:

2 suns (blue and red), 13 planets with her "home world" being the 5th one, the 4th and 6th planets crossing the 5th planet's orbit from time to time, the 5th planet has a ring around it with 4 different moons, the 5th planet has the usual 4 seasons, day and night, and an ice cap only on its northern hemisphere

now she wants me to come up with the number of days it takes for the planet to make a year, how often the 4th and 6th planets cross the 5th's orbit and how far the 2 suns are from the planets and each other.

needless to say, this is out of my league, so help! please? ;o)

follow me on this one: now i beleive in god ok..but
for these skeptics say these ufo are not real then how do they believe in god if they have never seen him?

just to let the ignorant people know -i do believe in god.
we have never found the actual skeleton of jesus but they still believe in him
there are hundreds of thousands of REAL videos around the world and pictures yet they still say that ufos are not real kinda redundant if u ask me.

What if scientists discover a life form out in space? However, the life form is humanoid and were 100 times bigger than us humans on earth. Do you think we should try and make contact with this other life form? Wouldn't there be a big chance they would smash us like ants without any interest to learn from us?

Some people here have stated that earth is just a speck of dust revolving around a minor star in the backwoods of our galaxy, which itself is a relatively small galaxy in the backwoods of the universe. But, maybe you have never quite put it in perspective, so I would like to show you something.
Tell me what you think?

In high school, a buddy of mine built a rail gun, or EMP cannon. He was able to project anything he could fit inside at super high velocities using the magnetic fields it created. Apparently the "projectile" had a magnetic field that was only disrupted by contact with a solid. With that in mind, couldnt we build a big one, stick a ship inside, and launch it into space? All it would need besides what a shuttle has is a secondary electromagnetic pulse to cancel out the magnetic field, and allow the ship to move freely. This could even be done deep into the solar system to save the fuel on the initial trip. People already know how to do this.
