In an article on Comet Holmes I read "the sun remains by far the most massive object in the solar system, with an extended influence of particles that reaches all the planets." Could someone explain this "extended influence of particles?"

I remember several years ago, when I was in year six or something like that, there was a great hoo-ha about a meteorite which was headed straight for us and would hit in about 31 years time. What ever happened about that? Was it even real? Or are we all doomed?

Honestly, if the universe was just.. nothing, no space, no stars, to planets... what color would it be? I mean it can't be no color.... it has to be a color.

Ok so its obvious that the sun is like a star. And I surfed the net and it said that the sun will explode like all stars. But HOW does it explode? And what about the solar system? It can't survive without the sun! What about humans? What about life?

They are cloaked to mesh right in with the sky (night or day)...did you think it would be simple to see them? What about the Arizone Lights? The O'Hare airport ufo? Roswell? Kecksberg? ...do you think anything paranormal HAS got to be fake? Why do you doubt what I say is true? I swear to you. The truth is out there!

how would its existence explain the accelerating expansion of the universe? is there really dark matter out there, or do we just not yet fully understand the physics of space and time? the apparent existence of dark matter could just be an error in einstein's equations right? thank you for your answers ahead of time and have a great day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Consider light year speeds (and other units of measure related to physics that I know nothing about), Earth's orbit, resources we have on earth. Would our orbit come to a stand still or just spin off in one direction?

I have studied these planets in great detail and I have trouble grasping the fact that they have no solid surface,, Suppose we took a solid metal ball and dropped it into one of these giants what would it eventually hit?? would it hit anything solid?? It seems that it would have to have a solid core of some kind ! am I right on this??

It is a stupid question similar to sci-fci movies, but we cant ignore it... Some scientist have decteted alien base at moon.. and as neil amstrong have said that "we were warned off by aliens when we are no the moon". It means that aliens dont like us.. and they are building their moon base to attacks us, and they have many visits to earth to check our techonoly, i think that thier planet is completely full so they want another planet to increase their population..

What u will going to do if alien attack us.. their techonology is 100 times better then our technology... and if they will attack us they will come with their full force..then w'll have no choice except dieying..

Are you ready to fight against aliens becuase if the war take place .. their would be no sound effect as shown in movies or any special effects.. only death will be waiting in the battle field..

Plz dont reply if you are not aware of alien moon base story...

When Aries is directly overhead, there is a nebula visible to the north (and just a very little bit west) of it. If you held up your hand at arms length, with the palm just to the north (earth north, of course) of Aries, then the nebula in question would appear to be one and one fourth of a hand's measure (at arms length) away from Aries. (I hope all this makes sense---I'm not all that saavy as to describing degrees, distance, etc. re. celestial objects in relation to each other.) What constellation is that and what nebula?

With all the news about the comet recently, I started to wonder what it would look like here on Earth if some day a comet that came in really close to the sun and formed a huge tail had its tail cross right into the path of Earth's orbit around the sun at the exact moment Earth crossed it. Would the entire night sky be lit up as bright as day? Would it just look like there was an aurora everywhere on Earth. Would it look like an aurora everywhere plus one spectacular meteor shower!!? Would the Earth block the formation of the tail so the dark side saw nothing? Thinking about it really made me want to see what it would be like. What do you think?

Okay, everytime people describe aliens...they have 2 eyes, 2 arms, 2 legs...are we so selfabsorbed, that we can assume they have the same physical body as we, humans, have ? And...the UFO's always have an engine, consist of metal and lights...thus..we assume again that they have the same starting technology as we have....so they would have to posess the same (earthly) materials as we do...doesn't this sound unlikely, assuming they come from outer space, millions of lightyears located from the earth ?
