The question is: If you find a galaxy that is 20 minutes of arc in diameter and you measure its distance to be 1 Mpc, what is its diameter?

Not sure how to figure this out? Formula?

I have read the book... otherwise I would not be on here asking for help. I didn't ask for the answer, I'm just asking if someone could point me in the right direction like showing me the formula maybe. And no, I could really care less about learning this stuff, I'm taking this class for a general education requirement.

Read your text book or lecture notes, it will tell you how to do it.

You might also want to actually learn things, rather then just plugging numbers into formulas (although that's more a failure of the education system).
