My mate fell in the canal last night. We went outside to watch the eclipse and straight afterwards she fell in the canal. Totally in, totally under, totally soaked, bloody funny! Do you think this was the power of the lunar eclipse, or just the two bottles of red wine she had downed??

The moon being a sphere seems an obvious candidate for rotation. It is also pock marked by meteor hits, it seems equally over all the surface, again suggesting that the earth has not shielded it from bombardment at some stage in it’s existence.
My question is did the moon ever rotate and when and why did it stop rotating.?

There are prophecies and oracles from around the world that all seem to point to December 21, 2012 as doomsday. The ancient Mayan Calendar, the medieval predictions of Merlin, the Book of Revelation and the Chinese oracle of the I Ching all point to this specific date as the end of civilization. A new technology called "The Web-Bot Project" makes massive scans of the internet as a means of forecasting the future... and has turned up the same dreaded date: 2012. Skeptics point to a long history of "Failed Doomsdays", but many oracles of doom throughout history have a disturbingly accurate track record.

Weird conspiracy, according to Mayan calender, In 2012 the next polar reversal will take place on earth. This means that the North Pole will be changed into the South Pole. Scientifically this can only be explained by the fact that the earth will start rotating in the opposite direction, together with a huge disaster of unknown proportions.

What do you guys think? conspiracy?

I remember getting a good look at Hayley's Comet when it passed by in 1986... I was about 8 years old. It turns up every 76 years (a bit like the British trains). I just wondered if anyone else here remembers seeing the comet?

Let's say you fell in love with the girl not knowing she would be your sister one day in the future, how would that change the situation in the present day? GIRLS: The same except, you go back in time & marry your brother not knowing he would be your brother in the future.
