I was thinking in terms of a space ship, couldn't liquid nitrogen be used as some form of fuel in use in a space ship? I wonder what kind of exhaust it would have. I figure, if it has a lot, it wouldn't be good, but if there is very little it may be great. Not sure. Would anybody know?

This seems unbalanced as it gives us five months on Standard Time and seven months on DST. Would it not be more logical to move our clocks ahead one hour at the end of Feb. (a month before the Vernal Equinox) just as we move them back one hour at the end of Oct. (a month after the Autumnal Equinox). Who can explain this anomaly?

Hawking: 'We Must Leave Earth Or Die'

Mankind will need to evacuate Earth and live in space to ensure the survival of humanity, Professor Stephen Hawking has warned. The theoretical physicist said Star Trek-style rockets would be used to colonise suitable planets orbiting other stars. Prof Hawking said he wants to journey into space himself - and has asked Sir Richard Branson for help.

the crumbled up piece of paper has the same weight as the flat piece of paper.
What is the explnation for why the crumbled sheet fell fast and the flat sheet fell slowly????
(does it has to do with air resistance?)

...I understand Project Crystal Knight involved an exchange program where we would send a group of humans over to live with an alien race on another planet...(vice versa, they would send over a group to live with us....).

If anyone knows...is this project still in gear, or was it stopped?
