If all matter in the universe were shrinking, including the observer, would the universe appear to be expanding?

I have a brochure to make for my science class and my teacher wants us to have a scientific reason why we think the planet we were assigned should be renamed and what it should be renamed after. Well, according to that theory that the solar system developed from a nebula, Uranus was one of the last planets formed. But Uranus is the oldest Roman god. I just don't know what to name it after. Can someone pleaseeeeeee help me??

Book of Genesis Ch 1 V 9-19

1. Universe was created in six days, 24 hours a day.
2. Light was created on 1st day (V 3-5)
3. Earth and vegetables were created on 3rd day (V 11-13)
4. Sun was created on 4th day (V 14-19)
5. God created two lights (LAMPS)….referring sun and moon….means moon also omits light. (V16)
6. “Rainbow is God’s promise…..” (9:17)

COMMENTS : Scientifically how could it be possible: light was created before its source (sun)…day was of 24 hours before the creation of sun and earth….both sun and moon omits light to brighten the earth……earth was created before sun then what was its orbit….etc

Book of Hebrew : says “Earth will perish”
Book of Psalms 78:69, says “The earth will abide forever”
Book of Job: says “All fruits and vegetables are edible”……whereas, even a child knows that there are several fruits and vegetables that are extremely poisonous…

some one explain please? i have a list of thousands. No counter questions please?

the amount of money that goes into such efforts to go to other planets is outrageous! for the amount that is spent on space travel could be used wisely to pay off the U.S. national debt, help the poor, build better schools, better hospitals, etc. Does any one else think the money could be better spent??
we, the people on earth do a good job destroying this planet, why ruin another???

The Bible tells us that G*d reacted to the threat of Earthling invasion by foiling the Tower of Babel project, and causing confusion with different languages. This proves that Heaven is within the Earth's atmosphere, as people back then lacked the technology to breathe beyond the atmosphere, and there'd be no reason to be threatened if they were just going to asphyxiate once the tower was tall enough.

So since Heaven is "up there" within reach of ancient engineers, why don't planes ever crash into it?

At certain points in its orbit, the occultation of a star by Uranus would not reveal the existence of Uranus’ rings. What points are these? How often does this circumstance arise?

At two opposite points in Saturn’s 29.5-year orbit of the Sun, its rings are edge-on to the Earth; they are so thin that they seem to disappear for a time. The intervals between successive edge-on appearances alternate between 13 years 9 months, and 15 years 9 months. Explain how it can be that the intervals are unequal. please help!

Someone asked me for help with this question, but is it even possible to answer this question with the information given? If so can someone explain the steps?

Here's the exact phrasing of the question:

An asteroid has an equilibrium temperature measured as 200 Kelvin. What is the object's orbital period around the Sun?

Now below it says to use the information given in the previous question which is:

Assuming the Earth's radius is 637 km, the solar constant is 1370 w/m2, and our planetary albedo is 0.31, then:

(a) Determine total power entering Earth's atmosphere.
(b) The total power that would be asborbed in the absence of an atmosphere.
© Surface temperature assuming it radiated into space all the energy it absorbed.

I don't see how you can possibly tell the orbital velocity from what they give you to solve the problem.
