Which of the following is among the things scientists predict for
Sun's demise?
The burning of helium will produce a carbon ash core.
The Sun will expand until it extends past the present orbit of Venus.
The sun will emit more energy but appear to be cool.
At different points in its final years, the Sun will become a red giant and a white dwarf.
All of the above are true.

Suppose that there is a planet in the solar system with a semi-major axis of a, of 77.2 A.U.that is an icy?
object with an albedo A, of 0.50. What is its surface temperature assuming that its only source of heat is sunlight, and that the planet radiates as a black body. Suppose that th eplanet has the mass and radius of pluto. WOuld such a planet be expected to retain carbod Dioxide ( mass=44xmass of hydrogen)?
This is what i got:
(1-A)*lsun/sigma*16*pi*d^2= 1-0.50*3.9*10^26/5.67*10^-8*16...
= 1.95*10^26/1.507*10^7= 1.293*10^19= 59966.2K
I see this is to hot cause its a icy planet but still lost help ma plz
