The motions and orbits of all the major bodies in our solar system have been analyzed and found to be consistent with their masses. In other words, the masses involved in our solar system explain the observed orbits of all major bodies. If a black hole was around, its gravity would help cause orbits other than what we see. Not only that, but material sucked into a black hole is acclerated to near light speed which causes it to generate immense amounts of radiation. No such phenomenon is present in our solar system.

It's far more likely that our solar system is orbiting a black hole at the center of our galaxy--we're in the outer arms however and are safe. The distortions caused by a black hole orbiting us from even a light year away would cause measurable distortions.

It's not impossible. A black hole needs to be sufficiently massive to have an effect on anything other than those close to it's event horizon. Theoretically, we could have a black hole which weighs almost nothing. Their stability is disputed though.

It could happen. Not in the inner solar system because gravity would give it away. But out near the Oort, it could be the instance that makes comets start on their way to the sun.

The gravitational pull of the black hole would be pulling light all over the place. There is no way we could miss it. We could see that with the naked eye.

We have to be light years away from the nearest black hole. I believe I read at least 550 light years away. Because black holes emit radiation at least that far that would be deadly to us.

There certainly could be, if it was sufficiently far out and not too massive.
