I have a brochure to make for my science class and my teacher wants us to have a scientific reason why we think the planet we were assigned should be renamed and what it should be renamed after. Well, according to that theory that the solar system developed from a nebula, Uranus was one of the last planets formed. But Uranus is the oldest Roman god. I just don't know what to name it after. Can someone pleaseeeeeee help me??

How about Minerva? It's in keeping with the Roman God/Goddess theme, but as Goddess of Wisdom is fitting for a planet that formed later.

A great deal of controversy has arisen as a result of the fact that the planet's name can be pronounced "Your anus". This unfortunate coincidence has made Uranus the butt of many jokes in the modern day and age. As a result, on January 6 2010 the name of Uranus was officially changed to Urectum. Several months later, a sister planet was found and named Urethra.

well since uranus was named after a god,we might as well stick to that and maybe open our ideas to a goddess as well.So........how about laxmi the goddess of light or something else like that or a God if you want to name it that way.
