Astronomy is found in other places than the usual Gregorian I think anyway. The Romans named the planets after their gods. Was this a cultural manuever in the olden days?

Scientist say that we came from little bacteria and evolved over millions of years, so I say WHERE DID THE BACTERIA COME FROM? then they say " from little particles of energy" well then where did the little particles of energy come from? then they say its always been there.

Well you are NOT scientists if you say that. Energy can not jsut always be here .
think of it this way...

People say that everything that exists today came from energy. its impossible for them to just " form " living, breathing, creatres that can communicate and think.

They say that since we cant actually SEE God, then we have no proof.
Well NO PERSON has EVER seen an atom, yet they still say that they must exist?
well I know they exist, because we would have nothing in this world without them
same thing with God.

Are shooting stars only visible for only maybe a second but a meteor for a few seconds? I saw a falling star the other day, but I think it made a bigger streak and went slower than the others I've observed. (I usually catch them out of the corner of my eye, but have seen a few from beginning to end.) Was it a meteor?

We can see distant stars within milli-seconds with our eyes...
Light takes several thousands of years just to travel across our milky way galaxy, and we can see several galaxies by hubble telescope...it's like we are there...except physically....

I wonder how many people believe in the nonsense that our universe has a physical end...and not only that but a lot of people think that the universe was created by the Big Bang :)).
Very funny...now I know why we have no cure for AIDS :).

Einstein once said:

"Only two things are infinite: the space and the human stupidity. But I am not sure for the first one"- (very popular quote btw)

:)
