Nowadays it's impossible, but about 50 years from now it might be.

I hope not for a very long time. With the robots they are inventing these days, there is really no reason to expend the extra billions of dollars required to send a human being. Not to mention the risk to the selected humans.

I'm not opposed to exploration of the solar system, I just think robots are a much better way to do it. We can learn a lot more in a much shorter time at much less expense.

There are already many rovers on mars. Knowing that, I believe humans will go to Mars in about 25 years. 30 years max

probably 20-30 years from now. It will take a year to get there & a year to get back, and all the logistics of how to survive, have enough water & air, etc have to be worked out. Here's hoping

it is probably like those wise men who make comic books say---when we stop blowing up people and destroying earth,we get to go to some other planets.....but I do not think that will ever happen...until after or during the thousand year reign where Jesus reigns...[a long story]if we could put ALL our energy into love and peace and good things we would invent some fabulous helps to get us to other planets..

because of fricken georger bush, not anytime soon. maybe like 50 years in the future we'll start thinking about it. who knows.
