I am take my telescope camping tonight. When I go to sleep what should I do so it doesn't collect moisture. I would like to leave it setup so we can look at stuff throughout the night. Any idears? Thanks.

if it is a reflector....point it slightly downward...that will keep dew off the front side of the surface. However the easiest thing for all scopes is to cover both ends and eyepiece holder simply with a cloth or similar. Plastic is not good since moisture in the air trapped inside could condense when it cools. If you bought the scope, it should have been shipped with lens covers or similar for a reflector.

If you have a fire going, the fire should keep the air warm enough to not condense.

It collects moisture if it's colder than the surrounding air. You just need a way to keep it a couple of degrees warmer than the air. High end telescopes have little heaters built in.

a hair dryer can remove the moisture, or you can get a dew zapper that fits around the OTA.
