It's for a project due in two hours. I've been working all night. That's six hours straight. At the computer. I can't feel my eyes anymore. And lucky me, I still have more work to do.

I am, so I'm just curious...(ambidextrous means when you can do everything with both of your hands; they are both dominant).

I know the doctors cut the umbilical cord at birth and the rest dries as falls off and you are left with an "innie" or "outie" button.
My question is: Is it really (as in very) closed?
I'm looking at mine and wondering if there is a slight opening at all.
Pressing on it, I hear a slight gas sound (I have a small hernia from a heaving incident) and deep down in it (I have an "innie") there seems to be a scaring. Even if I scrub it in the shower, pretty much clearing this "scaring" it comes back very soon. I'm not sure if everyone has this scaring due to this perpetual "injury" so to say. (And yes I'm sure it's a scaring, not some kind of discharge)

I hope someone can shed some light, try to address my actual question please - closure and the scarring
THANKS!

When Aries is directly overhead, there is a nebula visible to the north (and just a very little bit west) of it. If you held up your hand at arms length, with the palm just to the north (earth north, of course) of Aries, then the nebula in question would appear to be one and one fourth of a hand's measure (at arms length) away from Aries. (I hope all this makes sense---I'm not all that saavy as to describing degrees, distance, etc. re. celestial objects in relation to each other.) What constellation is that and what nebula?

With all the news about the comet recently, I started to wonder what it would look like here on Earth if some day a comet that came in really close to the sun and formed a huge tail had its tail cross right into the path of Earth's orbit around the sun at the exact moment Earth crossed it. Would the entire night sky be lit up as bright as day? Would it just look like there was an aurora everywhere on Earth. Would it look like an aurora everywhere plus one spectacular meteor shower!!? Would the Earth block the formation of the tail so the dark side saw nothing? Thinking about it really made me want to see what it would be like. What do you think?

In Einstein's equation E= mc^2,

What does m stand for? If it's the mass, then what mass? Could it possibly the mass defect which is the difference between the mass of an atom and the sum of its protons, neutrons, and electrons?

Also, if c is the speed of light, which equals 3.0x10^8 then does c^2 equal (3.0x10^8)^2? or no?

And the E is the energy in joules, right?

Thank you!
