y = 4x - 4 + 2
y = 4x - 2 is equation of line.

take a second point x,y on the line in addition to 1,2

slope = rise/run = 4 = (2-y)/(1-x)

2-y = 4(1-x)
2-y = -4x + 4
y = 2 + 4x - 4
y = 4x - 2
