First lets clarify the space over which this is happening. Let's say its the vector space V of polynomials. T:V-->V
I'm looking for the simplest easy to understand answer.
Is it because there are no elements in the domain whose image are constants? And constants are in the codomain but not in the range.....is that right...?

Since there is no pressure from the outside balancing the pressure from the inside shouldn't the atoms and molecules just separate from each other?

Jane makes a siphon to mix a drink with 7/8 orange juice and 1/8 cranberry from two identical glasses; one w/ cranberry one w/ OJ
The glass containing cranberry juice has a very large diameter with respect to the diameter of the straw and that the cross-sectional area of the straw is the same at all points. Atmospheric pressure is Pa and the cranberry juice has negligible viscosity.
Consider the end of the straw from which the cranberry juice is flowing into the glass containing orange juice, and let h_o be the distance below the surface of cranberry juice at which that end of the straw is located. Whats the initial velocity in g and h_o of the cranberry juice as it flows out of the straw? g is the magnitude of acceleration due to gravity.

Okay. I am only 12 years old. Dont spaz cause im on yahoo, i just want a couple serious answers.
First, The ghost thing.

Okay. so 2 years ago, my dad died. About 5 minutes ago, i was reading answers in the paranormal section, and my dog was just standing in front of the door, wagging his tail, looking into the hall of the apartment building through a crack in the door. My mom went in the hall, and called for my dog to come. He just wouldnt come into the hall. He was still wagging his tail, but he would not go out of the apartment. I dont know if this is linked with my dad, i dont really know, but can someone just try and give an explanation?
Okay. Now the psychic thing.
I believe all humans have a part of their mind they have not gained control of yet. I, however can notice this sence in myself. I can see stuff in my sleep, just short little maybe 5 second flashes of time, and a week later, usually it happens. I get a sence that i have been in the situation just a while earlier.

Please somebody tell me if this is wrong. We did a lab on reactivity in class (mixed a buch of metals w/ a bunch of nonmetals), and a post lab question is to say what ions tin and lead formed by looking at our data. I don't really no what this means, but here was my thought process.
The possible valences for tin and lead are +2, +4, and -4 right?? And since metals always "want" to lose electrons, and non metals always want to gain electrons I figured that when they bonded sn and pb would get a +2 or +4 charge, cuz they lost electrons. However, my instinct just tells me this is wrong, and I didnt use the data like the questino said to. I would appreciate any help, and promise to give 10 pts to best answer. at the very least pls confirm or deny my thought process.
