How do you evaluate this? I was wondering what method you use to evaluate from :

(2/n) [(1+2i/n)^2 + 9]

to here:

(8i/n^2+ 8i^2/n^3 – 16/n)

Btw, this is an n Σ i=1 function.

1. A 1550 kg car moving south at 12.2 m/s collides with a 2360 kg car moving north. The cars stick together and move as a unit after the collision at a velocity of 5.90 m/s to the north. Find the velocity of the 2360 kg car before the collision.

2. Two carts with masses of 4.92 kg and 2.56 kg move toward each other on a frictionless track with speeds of 5.43 m/s and 3.08 m/s respectively. The carts stick together after colliding head-on. Find the final speed.

I tested to see which light bulb would make corn the greenest. I used green, ulraviolet, and red light bulbs. The red light bulb made the corn the greenest. Why did the red light bulb make the corn the greenest?

Also: I need to do a research paper for my project. I looked up the history of corn and other stuff about corn. I want to look stuff up about red, green, and ultraviolet light bulbs, but I don't know what to look up! Any suggestions that I could type into Google or any websites with information i could use??

How did J.J. Thomson come to the conclusion through his cathode ray experiment that electrons, or "corpuscles," have about 1000 times less mass than a hydrogen atom? I know this assumption was incorrect, but how did he arrive at this calculation in the first place?

Here's the summary of the project that I'm doing: I'm going to buy 10 plants (the same ones)
There will be 5 groups of 2 plants. For each group(2 plants each) I will give them each a certain liquid(the same liquid), but the liquid is different for each group(the liquids I'm using are water, water w/20% sugar, Pepsi, Orange Juice, and Monster). I need good bibliography for projects similar to this and what the effects of the liquids might be on the plants. I need them with sources too please. Thanks yo.

This meteor idea is annoying! I keep hearing it but it seems to contradict the fact of a gradual extinction over a really really really long period of time. I can appreciate an impact could and probably did kill a lot of species, but extinction of the dinosaurs was a long long way from overnight, or even two weeks from next Tuesday.
