tanx = -1/3

so basically you can use ur calculator now to find the angle (arctanx) = -1/3

tan3x = - 1
3x = - 45°, 135°
x = - 15°, 45° (both ± n(360°))

tan(3x) = -1

3x = 3pi/4 or 7pi/4 , pi/4(8n+3), pi/4(8n + 7)

x = pi/4 , 7pi/12 , pi/12(8n+3) , pi/12(8n+7)

n is any positive whole number
