There are times when I hate it, yes, but on a whole, I rather enjoy it. I won't lie and say I like it all the time--in fact, I DESPISE Kinematics, which I'm struggling through for a second time right now. But put me in Fluids or Thermo and I enjoy myself well enough.

It's all just a matter of finding the classes you enjoy, and if you really hate it that much, perhaps you should consider changing majors.

Not really... My teacher isn't real bright... I don't even know how she became an engineering teacher, but yea i enjoy it. We get to do new stuff. I'm only in High School now, but I have already taken 3 classes toward and engineering degree in electrical engineering. I'm currently taking Principles of Engineering and its pretty fun.

Quite the opposite. I loved my undergrad studies, I loved working in the field for a few decades, I loved going back to school to study more of it, I love the job I have in engineering now, and I love the class I teach.

Why should you hate enginnering?

Just imagine doctors can cure patients, mechanic can repair cars & other things and so on.
These guys work on things that already exist. But it is an engineer who can create a new world to work, and live in. Just imagine where you would be living without houses, work without buildings.
Engineers can change the world; They create their own needs. I hope you change your vision towards engineering

My engineering education was great and after 26 years of industry experience I cannot imagine any other education/career path that would have been even half as enjoyable.

I am going to be polite even though this silly, whiny question begs me to be really, really rude.

Engineering is challenging and a lot of hard work. Guess what? Hard work is rewarding for those who are not too lazy to do it!

MY ANSWER IS:

No, I love it. I love everything about it. Engineers get to solve real world problems and make a difference. A big difference.

Now quit your silly messing around, get your act together, stop asking ridiculous questions, and go out there and make a difference!

No, I don't. Engineering is actually realy cool. Unless your instructor is an ******; then it stops being fun.

It's applying scientific principles to solving human's problems.

It's exciting every day.
