This might sound kinda screwy, but is our inability to see the fourth dimension and beyond merely the result of an insufficently evolved eye? And given time, could our eyes theoretically evolve to the point that we could see other dimensions?

If I understand correctly, at the base of black holes are points of infinite density. The big bang, as I understand it, originated from a point of infinite density.

If I understand these things correctly, is it not theoretically possible that our universe is the result of a black hole? And that other universes, possibly behind our means of observation, are being created as a result of the black holes which we know to exist?

My apologies to the astrophysicists to whom this question may seem elementary (or elementarily flawed)!

Any insight would be GREATLY appreciated!

Consider a function f which satisfies the following properties:
(i) f(x+y)= f(x)f(y)
(ii) f(0)≠0
(iii) f(0)=1

1. Use the definition of the derivative to show that f'(x)=f(x) for all real numbers x.

2. Let g be another function that satisfies properties (i)-(iii) and let k(x)=f(x)/g(x). Show that k is defined for all x and find k'(x). Use this to discover the relationship between f and g.

3. Can you think of a function which satisfies (i)-(iii). Can there be more than one such function?

Please help! I don't understand how to approach this problem at all!

Dogs are always peeing and craping in my yard... Would it be mean if I biuld a devise called a dog pee post? The devise would consist of a metal conductor sticking up from the ground with a large car battery or several car batterys hooked together to a voltage amplifier (200,000 volts)....when a dog tries to take a piss on it it will get a non life threatining 200,00 volt jolt.....mabe i could set up a sprinkler system that would pop up and spray the dog with water when activated by the pee post...the wet dog would make a better conducter for electricity than a dry dog....this would be a non life threatining devise...it would just remind to dog not to pee there anymor.......
