I take an intro level chem class and this is one of the problems we have for homework,

1.) For each of the following compounds, write the formula and name for any polyatomic ions which might be present:

(the numbers are supposed to be subscripted, Y! Answers isn't letting me subscript them)

CaCl2
AlCl3
KCN
Ba(OH)2
NaClO3
FeBr2
AgNO3
NaMnO4
K2CrO4
(NH4)2SO4
Ca3(PO4)2
NaHSO4
MoO2
CaCr2O7

I'm not asking for answers, I'm just wanting to know how I would find the answers given those compounds?

Suppose f is differentiable on [0, oo) and lim (x --> oo) f(x) exists. Does this implies that lim (x --> oo) f'(x) = 0? Apparently the answer is yes, because f has an horizontal assyntote. But I couldn't prove it formally.

My husband wants to solder a couple of silver linking rings into a bracelet for me. He has two soldering irons, one is a 25 watt, the other is 50 watts and uses both of these for soldering brass or nickel in modelling. We are not sure if either would be suitable for soldering silver. Can anyone help, please?

We are 4 friends who celebrate each others birthday by going away for a couple of days. Normally 3 of us would pay for the 4th's birthday, easy.

On this occasion we are celebrating 2 of our birthdays and having one trip. The question is:

How do we divide up the total cost of the trip so that the 2 people who's birthday it is also contribute equally to each others birthday?
