A cube of side 12 cm is painted red on all the faces and then cut into smaller cubes, each of side 3 cm. What is the total number of smaller cubes having none of their faces painted?

similarly how can find the number of cubes with 1 face painted and 0 face painted etc/?....?? please explain,,, give me the general formula........

A salesman enters the quantity sold and the price into the computer. Both the numbers are two-digit numbers. Once, by mistake, both the numbers were entered with their digits interchanged. The total sales value remained the same, i.e. Rs. 1148, but the inventory reduced by 54.

my diabetic grandma just had a double bypass. she made it through, but had to be put on the ventilator because she wasn't able to breathe on her own. i'm wondering if this is normal for patients who have just come out of this type of surgery? is it a bad sign, or will she be ok? the last i heard, she is doing better, but i just wanted to know about what's normal to experience after having just come out of surgery. thanks in advance!

How many mL of water must be added to 45.0 mL of a 1.25 M HCL (aq) to lower the concentration to 1.00 M?


Do you just set it up as 45mL/1.25 = X/1.00M and X=36?
That seems too easy to be true. How would you approach this type of question?
