Something that is lightweight and pressure resistant. I have already tried pvc and it was to heavy. I thought about using a fluoresent tube cover because it is lightweight but will it be able to hold enough pressure. 150-200 psi

Look at the graph and comment on the sign of D or the discriminant. Form the quadratic equation based on the information provided and find its solution. The points are (-1,0), (0.67,0), and (-0.16,2) which is the vertex.

Two 6-sided number cubes are rolled 270 times. The sum of 5 comes up 42 times. To the nearest hundredth, what is the experimental probability of rolling a sum of five? What is the theoretical probability of rolling a 5? Compare the 2 results.

Prove that (1/9) is less than or equal to SQRT(66) -8 which is less than or equal to (1/8)

(without computing SQRT66 to 2 decimal places!)

Hint: Recall the Mean Value Theorem.

Can someone please show me how to do this problem without using "integral" or integration... just using elementary calculus i guess....

thank you!

I saw in a documentary that the whole population is now using 20% more natural resources than Earth can reproduce. I don't know where this 20% comes from, but it makes me think more about environment. It is as with money: we can spend more money than we earn, but if you continue doing so, you will go bankrupt? Does it mean one day Earth will go bankrupt?

Suppose f:R-->R is differentiable at a. Let u and v be real valued functions defined on a neighborhood I of a such that u - v doesn't vanish on I - {a} and such that u(x) --> 0 and v(x) --> 0 as x --> a. Then, is it true that

lim ( x -->a) [f(a + u(x)) - f(a + v(x))]/(u(x) - v(x)) = f'(a)?
