y = 2x + 1
m = 2
y intercept is y = 1

-2x + y = 1
-2x - 1 = -y - Multiply both sides by -1.
2x + 1 = y
Substitute, the equation with y = mx + b where m is the gradient/slope, b is the y intercept.
So the slope is 2 and the y intercept is 1. Unlike in the other people's answers.

the common formof the line is y=mx+b
so, -2x + y =1
y=2x +1
then,
m=2
b=1
y-intercept is indicated by x=0, so,
y=2(0) + 1
y=1
y-intercept = point (0,1)
