Hello Humans,
I'm really going to try to make this as short as possible.I have a certain fear and it involves math.I have dsycalculia and I find math to be very EXTREMELY difficult.Sometimes,I feel as if I can comprehend it but then I end up getting confuse.
I'm ashame of myself,I'm 16 years old and yet don't know my multiplication nor how to divide or even simple basic.I think this all has to do with me going to this private school for about 4 years and they never never taught it was a horrible school.Now I'm currently going to be a junior in a new high school,that teaches and I don't want to feel behind.I already failed geometry in sophomore year of my new school.I must improve because math is so important for everything.
I want to study it on my own until school begins Aug 20th.
but will i have enough time? Will i be able to improve? I'm going to be taking Algebra.What if i fail? ... =/
And i cannot get a tutor at all nor someone to help me which is why i have to do it on my own.

about Hubble & other long range telescopes. They show pictures of neighboring galaxies and how they relate in size and mass to the Milky Way galaxy. So how do we get photos of our own galaxy? or Were those just representations? They sure looked real enough.

im thinking of double majoring in biology and biochemistry but want to know if its worth the extra work. biology and biochemistry are both distinct but, also because they are very similar, would it make the double major less reputable?

i was also thinking of double majoring in biology and chemistry but i since i already have alot of the requirements completed for biochemsitry i want to stick to bio + biochem.

Also is double major only benefical if the two majors are completely different? has anyone double majored in bio + biochem?

the reason for double majoring is because i am about to finish all the requirements for biology degree in my sophmore year if i choose to therefore, it leaves me with a whole senior year and a summer term that i do not know what to do with. there is the option of getting some sort of minor but i have several biochem courses finished and because the two majors are similar the double major seems like a better idea?

When a 3.25 g sample of solid NaOH was dissolved in a calorimeter in 100.0 g of water, the temperature rose from 23.9 degrees C to 32.0 degrees C, calculate the heat of neutralization (deltaH) in kJ/mol NaOH for the solution process:

NaOH(s) --> Na+ (aq) + OH(aq)

assume it's a perfect calorimeter and that the specific heat of the solution is the same as that of pure water.
