I have a Chemistry project and one of the easier question I thought would be this, but I can't find it on the internet anywhere in an understandable form.

Thanks

I just noticed people using symbols like "not equal to" (an equality sign with a slash through it) and "union of sets" (a big U . . . maybe that's all it was). How are you doing this? My math answers would benefit from the extra clarity these symbols provide . . . .

'cause suppose even if I consider the initial thermal(etc.) energy of the fissionable mass =e1 and kinetic energy of the striking nuclear projectile(poton etc.) to be =e2...

then i don think that E3=energy produced by nuclear fission(heat+electromagnetic) is in any way near the sum of e2 & e1??!!!
i.e E3>>>e1+e2

so here the law of consv. of mass-energy holds, but does it mean that we can practically increase the total energy of the universe by a finite value?????

reply fast n plz give req. exp. facts.......

H2 +Cl2 gives 2HCl
here in the product, we have HCl as a compound, with valency 1 from hydrogen and chlorine and hence is balanced as 2HCl.
but why do we write H two and Cl two, i can see its got nothing to do with valency, so what is it? do different elements have a fixed number of those things? if so where can i find such a list for different elements?
Pleeze help!!

3 MEN GO INTO A HOTEL.
THE MAN BEHIND THE DESK SAID THE ROOM IS $30
SO EACH MAN PAID $10 AND WENT TO THE ROOM.
A WHILE LATER THE MAN BEHIND THE DESK REALIZED THE ROOM WAS ONLY $25
SO HE SENT THE BELLBOY TO THE 3 GUYS' ROOM WITH $5.
ON THE WAY THE BELLBOY COULDN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO SPLIT $5 EVENLY
BETWEEN 3 MEN,
SO HE GAVE EACH MAN A $1 AND KEPT THE OTHER $2 FOR HIMSELF.
THIS MEANT THAT THE 3 MEN EACH PAID $9 FOR THE ROOM, WHICH IS A TOTAL OF $27
ADD THE $2 THAT THE BELLBOY KEPT = $29.
WHERE IS THE OTHER DOLLAR?
