Is anyone good with analyzing graphs, standard deviation, etc. Help?

A standard deviation has to do with curve shaped graphs and how far something falls above or below an average or mean (eg. 2 above or 2 below).

How can I interpret statistical graphs well with health data (number of diseases, epidemiological studies, etc.).

If you do a yahoo search using statistics as the search you will get 347,000,000 hits..... if you do "statistics+(what kind of statistics you are looking for)" it might give you less hits to look through......
