[(3t + 6w) / 12t ] + [ (28t - 32w) / 12t ] - 3
[ (31t - 26w) / 12t ] - [ 36t / 12t ]
(31t - 26w - 36t) / (12t)
(- 5t - 26w) / 12t

Just like adding fractions with uneven denominators. Find the lcd first:
[(t+2w)*(3t-3) + (7t-8w)*(4t)]/ [4t*(3t-3)]
Multiply out, combine like terms, simplify and you got it.
