why is scrambler used in digitla communication,can u help me with links please

It is an encrypting device that mixes up the data in a digital stream of information. That prevents unauthorized people without the corresponding decryption key from being able to view the information. The intended user with the correct key can unscramble the message and see the contents.

Mike is right. There are two devices needed...

A communication goes out to you in a complete form which can be monitored, so to prevent this from happening...

The message from the communicator is scrambled, and when you receive the message, your de-scrambler converts it back to the original format.

Scrambling the information allows the sender and receiver of the signal to pass sensitive information securely. It allows only those with the correct decoding equipment / or decoding algorithm to "unscramble" the data allowing the sender to choose who receives it.
