It is true that the basic laws of physics say that nothing that has any mass can travel faster then the speed of light, but energy does not have any mass. So if you were able to surround an object in an energy bubble and maintain that bubble of energy for a prolonged period of time could you then propel the object beyond the speed of light and if so why isn't NASA working on building such technology, or is this still the realm of science fiction

As I understand it it means that nothing really exists unless a person is looking at it, all the atoms that make up any object could be at any point in the universe and come together when someone looks at it.

Iv just tested this. I closed my eyes and touched a wall. Not looking at it and neither was anyone else because it was an inside wall, so therefore it should not be there. Of course it was.

Am I missing something here? Things dont just not exist if us humans dont look at them.
I must have got this wrong, could someone explain it please. In laymens terms please.

It must like go in to a big pipe under your house/steet... but how does it get moved from there with everyone elses waste to the sewage plant.

And theres also no sewage plant near me that I know of.

And you can't smell waste when your walking on the street. Does it magically disappear?

This is a bonus question for my math class in college. The professor's hint was 'the answer is approximately 10 letters.'

Hi,
anyone who might know the Denver gardner PA8 piston pump? if so where can i source it's operational specs from? am struggling doing so on the search engines.

I'm using it to pump a slurry but want to know what the maximum pressure is that it can handle before being damaged. And does the spefici gravity (aka density) of the slurry i'm pumping make a differnece in the pumps pressure handling abilities?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

What in the world has happened to this tree? It is next to 3 other pines, but this is the only with the problem. The holes start at the very bottom and go up pretty far, they are well formed and some even in straight lines. They are only about 1/4 inch deep. Some of the holes have caused tons of sap to seep out. Here are some images:

Is it infested with something? If so, what is it…should the tree be removed? If it’s disease will it spread?

They are in my mother's flower bed; however, she does not remember planting them. I assume they are weeds, but she does not want to pull them out until she knows.

The first one has spiked leaves and is growing upward only, here are 2 images:
