6 - 3x = 15
Subtract 6 from each side:
6 - 3x - 6 = 15 - 6
-3x = 9
Divide by -3 on each side:
-3x / -3 = 9 / -3
x = -3

Hey there!
Here's the answer.
6-3x=15 --> Write the problem.
-3x=9 --> Subtract 6 on both sides of the equation.
x=-3 Divide -3 on both sides of the equation.
So the answer is x=-3.
Hope it helps!

The answer is:
6-3x=15
=> -3x=15-6
=> -3x=9
=> x=8/(-2.66)
=> x=-2.66
VERIFICATION:
6-3x=15
put x=-2.66
=> 6-3(-2.66)=15
=> 6+=15
=> 15.98=15
Ignore .98 above as 8/-3 was calculated using the calculator. :) :)
