Obviously as we learned in grade school, Isosceles triangles have 2 equal sides
an equilateral triangle has all 3 equal sides, my question is
are isosceles triangles also equilateral triangles (meaning 2 side triangle also name for 3 side triangle) , or is an equilateral triangle also an isosceles triangle (a 3 side triangle is also a two side triangle?) i think i totally confused my self, a two side triangle is also a 3 side triangle or a 3 side triangle is all a 2 side triangle.
P.S. Or is an isosceles triangle a triangle of AT LEAST 2 sides?
I hope you understand what I'm taking about i know but yet ive totally confused my self, oh man i totally confused myself lol

In my last question I did not intend to put forth a theory. I am trying to understand, and to distinguish what we know, and what theories there are.

So I say, it seems to me (not that I am holding to any of my assumptions, but for the purpose of questioning), that the universe can not have a shape because then photons would curve through space. Perhaps I am wrong. But then does the universe have a shape? If not then is it true that the universe has an envelope?

Actually we can not see 40 billion light years into space, such is based on assumptions. We can see 4 parsecs, and up to about 30 or 35 parsecs, but beyond that we can not tell distance.

Use the sales forecaster's prediction to describe a normal probability distribution that can be used to approximate the demand distribution. Sketch the distribution and how its mean and standard deviation.

Provided information: Sales forecaser predicts an expected demand of 20,000 units with a 0.90 probability that demand would be between 10,000 units and 30,000 units.

What is the standard deviation?

Please see this layman's pic, since trying to write it here is a hellish ordeal: http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/4360/reimennrl7.jpg

The first part is the actual problem. The second part, why is the problem split into two sums? Is it because the k below sigma in the first problem is = 3, and we have to set it to 1? I don't see the relationship, thanks!
