Certainly. Virtually any place on earth with a sea coast is liable to being struck by a tsunami. As recently as November of 2006 Crescent City, California suffered tsunami damage, sinking one boat and damaging others. In 1964 11 people were killed there and much of the city center destroyed by a tsunami. Southern California is probably less vulnerable because of the offshore topography, but will almost certainly be struck by a damaging tsunami also.
