i mean the empirical formula i.e:H2O

Potato- starch- O-GlcNAc
Butter- butyric acid-C4H8O2
Salt- NaCl
Milk- lactose C3H6O3
water (not added, but in the ingredients)- H20

keep in mind these are only the main chemicals in each ingredient and are not each and every single chemical there is in mashed potatoes. hope this help

There is no "formula" other than delicious.

But I believe the starch in the potatoes acts as an imulcifier, meaning it can bind the milk and the butter together allowing a smoother mixture. But it's not a solution and definitely has separate parts that adds to the flavor.

A lot of chemistry in food is very interesting, but can get complicated quick.

Mashed potatoes often include milk and butter, along with salt and perhaps other seasonings. There is no standard composition. If you knew what the ingredients are. you could probably come up with a list of formulas, but there won't be just one formula.

same as potatoes... but squished. starch is the primary sugar storage form, but asking this question is like saying "whats the chemical formula of mashed human's eye?

There is no real "formula" for mashed potatoes. The basic potato is essentially starch.

Kool-Aid and potato mashers BAD. Maybe proteins and carbohydrates bad mix.
