1. Factor

3x^2 - 7xy - 6y^2

2. When a ball is thrown, its height in feet h after t seconds is given by the equation

h = vt - 16t^2

where v is the initial upward velocity in feet per second. If v = 15 feet per second, find all values of t for which h = 3 feet. Round answer to 2 decimal places.

3. What is the x - intercept(s) and the coordinates of the vertex for the parabola y = x^2 +4x-5. If there is more than one x-intercept seperate them with commas.

Thank you

I know the fundamental science behind a black hole, but I'm not sure what would happen in the above condition. This is a purely theoretical question, so don't bother pedantically pointing out that this could never happen because... or that black holes are permanent because... I'm not interested in that sort of answer. I'd like to hear what you think the outcome of the above condition would be. Destruction of Earth? Destruction of the solar system? Destruction of my road? What would happen to light and matter particles trapped and permanently falling on the event horizon once the hole winked out of existence? Would they be released? If so, what would be the nature of that release?

I Know Distance.
I Know Time.

I want to know what the constant acceleration and decelleration would be if I left my destination and arrived at my destination at 0m/s.

For instance.
au = Astronamical Unit
ly= Light Year ( 63240au)

Distance = 10ly (632400au)
Time = 180 seconds

What is your acceleration/deceleration in AU/S/S

What equation would you need to work out acceleration if you accelerated and then decelerated at a constant rate for half of the journey?

Just wondering: It is a known fact that plasticizers (the stuff which makes bags and plastic bottles soft, and seals of screw caps tight) get absorbed into food and act as endocrine interruptors in the human body.
Is that absorption process temperature-dependent at all?
I mean, we store food in freezers in plastic stuff for a long time. If low temperatures don't slow down the transfer of endocrine interruptors, I won't use plastic anymore.
Does anybody know if it has that effect though?

From a well-shuffled pack of cards (whatever that means!), what is the probability of finding JUST two cards, of the same rank (any rank), next to each other?

Or maybe I should have worded it as " what is the probability of finding AT LEAST two cards of the same rank next to each other?"

Either way, I have no idea how to tackle this, but my suspect intuition tells me the probability is > 0.5 from my son's practical experience.
Is this an impossible ask or are my probability skills waning?

I just can't figure it out,
Because if you take all the air out of any object, it turns to a small mass, or just it's shell?
...And there is still gravity here on earth..?
Can some-one help me with this...
