3x² = 33
x² = 11
x = ±√11

Explanation
√11 x √11 = 11 and 3 x 11 = 33
(-√11) x (-√11) = 11 and 3 x 11 = 33

yes your answers are correct!

3x^2-33=0

- move 33 to the other side

3x^2=33

- divide both sides by 3

x^2=11

- square root both sides to solve for x

√x^2 = √11

therefore x = +/- √11

Add 33 to both sides:
3X^2=33
Divide by 3:
X^2=11
Sqrt:
Sqrt(X^2)=Sqrt(11)
Simplify:
X=Sqrt(11)

Yes, you got the right answer
